Established in 1965 as The Curry Agency, TCA Property Management has a long history of providing Real Estate services in the Harford and Cecil County areas. Family owned for over 57 years the Curry family is embedded as a part of this community. Having a roof over your head is a basic human necessity and being able to help those with their housing needs is a blessing.

The year is 1964, G. DeWayne Curry, then a General Insurance Agent with an office located at 416 West Bel Air Ave. Aberdeen, saw opportunity in establishing a Real Estate Company and in 1965 he obtained his Real Estate License. Under the Real Estate license law, you must be in the business for three years before you can get your Broker license, this being the case a friend and Real Estate Broker Roger Rice agreed to establish The Curry Agency under his Broker license. For this step DeWayne needed a new home so together with Richard Krauss, a local attorney they bought 310 West Bel Air Ave. Aberdeen. For the next three years DeWayne worked under Roger Rice's Broker license providing both insurance and Real Estate services. In 1968 DeWayne obtained his Broker license and became sole owner of The Curry Agency.

By 1975 a solid business foundation had been established and seeing the need to provide continued support for his growing staff, agents and customers DeWayne constructed the first 2 story office building on route 40 in Aberdeen at 37 North Philadelphia Boulevard. The next 15 years would see many changes. With his wife Caroline and three children by his side DeWayne would continue to work hard and establish himself as force in the Real Estate industry and a respected member of the community.

It's late December 1990 and The Curry Agency now Century 21 Curry Agency, after buying out a local Century 21 franchise, is seeing the completion of a project which will be their new home. After nearly two years Don Curry, DeWayne’s Son, who had been heading up a renovation project on the old Flying Clipper property was nearly complete. Century 21 Curry Agency moves to its largest facility yet with over 5000 square feet of space located at 200 N. Philadelphia Boulevard. This project, in addition to being an opportunity for growth, was an opportunity to redevelop a vacant building on Route 40.

January 1996, G. DeWayne Curry lost his long battle with cancer and I, who had been involved in the company since 1986, in the areas of construction, property management and sales, took over acquiring my Broker license in September of that year. With the support of my wife and mother who still helps out in the business I can tell you "my heart and soul is in the Company and it is our vision to continue my father's legacy".

1997 brings new changes in the incorporation of the rental property division to TCA Property Management, Inc. which would operate out of 200 N. Philadelphia Blvd. Suite C for the next 15 years. In 2013 TCA Property Management, Inc. moved to its current location at 314 W. Bel Air Ave. Suite C Aberdeen, Md. 21001. This move consolidated the property management company and the contracting company to one location. As a side note this location back in 1951 was the home of Pete Rowe Chevrolet (not to be confused with Pete Rose the ball player) and where Don’s Father G. De Wayne Curry bought his first car a 1951 Chevrolet off the show room floor where TCA Property Management has their offices today. Sometimes things come full circle.

In 2007, Don Split the Maintenance division off and opened D.R. Curry Contracting, Inc. a home improvement company which does a wide variety of maintenance and home improvement work. The company continues to support the maintenance division of TCA Property Management, Inc. as well as the needs of Century 21. One of the benefits is the ability to move quickly on home sale repairs.

April of 2013 brought a change in that Century 21 Curry Agency would now become Century 21 The Real Estate Centre. Teaming up with Gary Hoffer Don sold the company and Gary Became the new Broker. Don continued to hold an Associate Brokers license with Gary’s firm. Today the Real Estate company is Century 21 New Millennium and Don still holds an Associate Brokers license with the firm.
